We are now looking for hourly substitutes who want to work in our municipal primary schools and middle school.

Experience a challenging and fun journey towards personal development. Working as a substitute in schools and after-school programs is a stimulating and developing job. You will be part of the daily work where you meet children, parents, and colleagues.

You should enjoy a flexible working style as you can be booked on short notice to replace regular staff in our operations. You will work through the staffing center and need to continuously update your availability in the booking system SwedeTime to show when you can work. After that, you will receive your bookings with information via SMS.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a substitute within our schools and after-school centers, you will work pedagogically and develop with students aged 6–15 years.

In the school, you will work with students from preschool class up to middle school. You can substitute in preschool class, as a class teacher, teaching assistant, or as a teacher for the higher grades where you teach specific subjects.

Qualifications

You easily create good contacts with students, guardians, and educators. You want to contribute to creating an enjoyable educational environment for teaching, development, and learning.

You should have a genuine interest in children and youth, as well as good collaboration skills and the ability to build good relationships with students, educators, and guardians.

Since the work is varied and can take place in different workplaces, you are confident in yourself and can adapt to different situations. You enjoy learning new things, are attentive, and show interest in the job.

You need to be at least 18 years old and have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Relevant education for the profession
• Relevant experience in the profession
• Other work experience

To work as a substitute in schools and preschools, you must present a valid extract from the criminal record, according to the Education Act, before employment. Conditions

Intermittent need-based employment. Start date by agreement. Interviews and selection will be ongoing.
